Setup Instructions
- Make sure Telegram is installed on your Android device
- Tap the "Connect in Telegram" button above — the app will open automatically
- In the dialog that appears, tap "Enable"
- Proxy is now active — a shield icon will appear in the Telegram status bar
- For manual setup: Settings → Data and Storage → Proxy → Add Proxy → MTProto
- Make sure Telegram is installed on your iPhone / iPad
- Tap the "Connect in Telegram" button above — the app will open automatically
- Confirm the connection by tapping "Enable" in the dialog
- Proxy is now active — a shield icon will appear at the top of Telegram
- For manual setup: Settings → Data and Traffic → Connection Type → Use Custom Proxy → MTProto
- Make sure Telegram Desktop is installed
- Click the "Connect in Telegram" button above — the app will open automatically
- Click "Enable" in the confirmation dialog

Security & Privacy
Encryption Protocol
MTProto 2.0 (AES-256-IGE + SHA-256) - MTProto 2.0 uses AES-256-IGE symmetric encryption combined with SHA-256 message authentication. Each session uses unique ephemeral keys negotiated via Diffie-Hellman, making it impossible to decrypt past traffic even if a session key is later compromised.
Security Features
- End-to-end encryption between your device and the Telegram server — the proxy operator only sees encrypted data packets
- Perfect Forward Secrecy — each session generates a fresh key pair; compromising one session does not expose others
- Secret obfuscation — the MTProto secret can include a fake TLS extension (prefix "ee") to disguise traffic as regular HTTPS
- No DNS leaks — all DNS resolution happens inside the encrypted tunnel, preventing third parties from seeing which servers you connect to
- Note: a proxy operator can see the metadata of your connection (server, port, timing) but cannot read message content
